Tissue Lamé

Scanned at 100%, this collection of Tissue Lamé will enhance your quilts. We strongly suggest you also order Woven Fusible Interfacing to go with them, as that is what makes them easy to handle.

Lamé is available as fat quarters for $1.75 each. A few colors are available as 42" yardage for $7. per yard, in limited quantities. If you need yardage, please inquire. Woven Fusible Interfacings, available in either black or white, are 22" wide and $3.50 per yard. It therefore requires 1/2 yard of interfacing to bond a fat quarter of lamé.

A note about fusing the interfacing onto the Tissue Lamé. Use a press cloth and steam. Begin in the center and work to the outer edges. When bonded, it will appear a bit puckery. Slide your iron from the center to the outer edges repeatedly and some of the puckering will disappear. You'll find the puckers disappear magically when you cut your bonded lamé into strips.
