We'll plant daisies in the corners
of some of these log cabin blocks, and create 4 different blocks to make a
67" x 86" lap throw. You'll learn about the BEST way to log cabin construction, as well
as easy stars for the corners without diamonds.
This is a
6-hour workshop.

Use quality fabrics which are 42" - 44" wide. Color 1
is the lightest and 4 is the darkest.
For Optional Pre-Cutting, cut across the 40" width of the fabric.
Block Centers - 1/4 yard - or more. Mine are fussy cut.
Cut (4) 2-1/2" strips into:
(48) 2-1/2" squares
Blue 1 (medium light) - 1-1/8 yards
Cut (3) 1-3/4" strips for strip sets
Cut (16) 1-3/4" strips into:
(4) 1-3/4" x 10"
(16) 1-3/4" x 8-3/4"
(36) 1-3/4" x 7-1/2"
(36) 1-3/4" x 3-3/4"
Blue 2 (medium) - 5/8 yard
Cut (11) 1-3/4" strips into:
(36) 1-3/4" x 6-1/4"
(36) 1-3/4" x 5"
Blue 3 (medium dark) - 1-1/4 yards
Cut (8) 2-1/2" strips for Binding
Cut (10) 1-3/4" strips into:
(16) 1-3/4" x 7-1/2"
(28) 1-3/4" x 6-1/4"
(12) 1-3/4" x 5"
Blue 4 (dark) - 1-1/4 yards
Cut (1) 1-3/4" strip for strip sets
Cut (21) 1-3/4" strips into:
(24) 1-3/4" x 8-3/4"
(48) 1-3/4" x 7-1/2"
(16) 1-3/4" x 5"
(28) 1-3/4" x 3-3/4"
Yellow 1 (medium light) - 2/3 yard
Cut (12) 1-3/4" strips into:
(16) 1-3/4" x 10"
(16) 1-3/4" x 8-3/4"
(16) 1-3/4" x 5"
(16) 1-3/4" x 3-3/4"
Yellow 2 (medium) - 2/3 yard
Cut (12) 1-3/4" strips into:
(32) 1-3/4" x 7-1/2"
(32) 1-3/4" x 6-1/4"
Yellow 3 (medium dark) - 2/3 yard
Cut (12) 1-3/4" strips into:
(16) 1-3/4" x 10"
(16) 1-3/4" x 8-3/4"

Stars - 1/3 yard
Cut (6) 1-3/4" strips into:
(48) 1-3/4" x 3"
(48) 1-3/4" squares
Border Stripe - 2-3/4 yards
Cut (4) 5-1/2" vertical stripes
Bring your left over fabric.
