Add a terrific Thunderbird to a Traditional Lone Star, using Jackie's methods to assure a flat center.

This is an all-day or Retreat workshop.

Select quality fabrics which are 42" - 44" wide.

Select 11 Fabrics for the Star – possibly graduated from light to dark – or maybe color-to-color. #1 is the Thunderbird Center; #11 is the Point.

YARDAGE:
There is 1 size offered - 75" x 75". You could expand it with more borders of your own choosing.

Color 1 - Center – 1/2 yd
Color 2 - 1/8 yd
Color 3 - 1/4 yd
Color 4 - 3/8 yd
Color 5 – 1/2 yd
Color 6 - 1/2 yd
Color 7 – 1/2 yd
Color 8 - 3/8 yd
Color 9 - 1/4 yd

Before class, please pre-cut the following ACCURATELY across the 42" width:

Color 1 - Thunderbird - Cut (5) 2-3/4” strips
Color 2 - Cut (1) 2-3/4” strip
Color 3 - Cut (3) 2-3/4” strips
Color 4 - Cut (4) 2-3/4” strips
Color 5 - Cut (5) 2-3/4” strips
Color 6 - Cut (6) 2-3/4” strips
Color 7 - Cut (5) 2-3/4” strips
Color 8 - Cut (4) 2-3/4” strips
Color 9 - Cut (3) 2-3/4” strips
Color 10 - Cut (2) 2-3/4” strips
Color 11 - Cut (1) 2-3/4” strip

Light Border - Cut (7) 1-1/4" strips
Salmon Border - Cut (14) 1-1/4" strips
Diamond Border - FOUR fabrics - Cut (3) 2-3/4" strips of EACH
Blue Border - Cut (1) 4-1/4" strip into:
          (4) 4-1/4” squares
Cut (8) 1-1/2” strips
Cut (8) 2-1/2” strips for Binding

Background
Cut (1) 28-1/2” strip into:
          (1) 28-1/2” square
Cut (2) 19-5/8” strips into:
          (4) 19-5/8” squares

Bring the remainder of your fabric to class.

Also Bring to class:
          A GOOD Sewing Machine with foot control and power cord

          Presser foot for achieving a scant 1/4" seam
